FHA Coaching Courses Spring 2024
FIELD HOCKEY NCCP COMPETITION INTRODUCTION COURSE
This workshop is part of Field Hockey Canada’s Competition Introduction Coaching Pathway. It is intended for those who wish to coach U12-U16 athletes in competitive programs such as CJFH League or Provincial teams participating at U16 Nationals.
Who
- Parents who have at least two years of coaching assistance
- Players aged 16+ with two or more years coaching experience
- Existing Coaches who want to take it to the next level
Prerequisites
Please contact our Coach Education Team if you do not have all of the prerequisites completed prior to the course or if you are unsure of what courses you have completed

- Three Comp Intro Multisport Modules
Times and Locations
This course consists of three in-person classroom sessions at the FHA offices and one practical session at Queen Elizabeth High School. You must attend all sessions to receive NCCP credit for this course.
- Thursday April 25 6:30-9:00 pm at FHA office
- Friday April 26 6:30-9:00 pm at FHA office
- Saturday April 27 10:00am-2:00 pm at FHA office
